Reglas: In order to conjugate regular verbs in ‘pretérito’ we take away
the ar-er-ir and add endings.

Regla: In the double vowel verbs, in el.ella.ud, and ellos.ellas.uds.,
we replace the “i” of the ending with a “y” because we cant have 3
vowels in a row. All the other persons get accents to stress the strong
vowels.
Stem Changing Verbs
Regla: All “ar” and “er” verbs that are stem changing in present will
become completely regular. All “ir” verbs that were stem changing will
change “o” to “u” or “e” to “i”. This only happens in el.ella.ud. and
ellos.ellas.uds.

“J” verbs are made of the “zco” verbs
that are “cir” (proudcir, conducir, traducir, reducir) the zco from the
“cer” group becomes regular (conocer, ofrecer, paracer)
